Of the teams mentioned only the Dodgers and Giants have played in three different cities. The Dodgers started in the American Association playing in Hartford but played some of their home games in Brooklynn eventually moving there and joining the National League, moving to LA in 1958. The Giants began life as the Troy Haymakers, moved to New York in 1885(I believe) became known as the Giants a short time later and moved to San Fransisco in 1958. Concerning the other teams, The Orioles started as the St.Louis Browns moving to Baltimore in 1954. The Twins were the original Washington Senators moving in 1961 and the current Wash.Nationals begin play this year after moving from Montreal. Washington had various teams in the 19th Century called the Nationals and were in the National League through 1899. Unmentioned are the Braves who started playing in Boston, moved to Milwaukee in 1953 and finally to Atlanta in 1966 and The Oakland A's who moved from Philadelphia to Kansas City in 1955 and on to Oakland in 1968.
