What causes too much oil pressure in a Chevy v64.3l?

It's either a bad sensor or (if it really IS too much pressure) the pressure relief spring and/or piston inside the engine aren't functioning properly.

Where is the oil pressure release valve on a 190E 2.6 diagrams please?

Mercedes 2.6 (m103) oil pressure reliefThe oil pressure relief valve on a Mercedes 190e 2.6 (103) is mounted in the oil pump housing. Access is by removing the sump where the oil pump housing is located at the front of the engine. The relief valve consists of four components, a screw plug, a compression spring, a guide pin, and a piston. Remove the screw plug and withdraw the spring the pin and the piston. Refit in the reverse order to removal and torque the screw plug to 50Nm.

What are the various types of sensors used to measure pressure?

Bourdon Tube. · Spring and Piston. · Bellows and capsules. · Diaphragm

How does the model 99 daisy bb gun work?

It's the same as all the other "Red Ryder"BB guns. When you cock the lever it pulls back the spring in the Air Piston tube and locks it in place. Another spring forces the BB into place at the end of the piston tube. The trigger releases the spring allowing the spring and piston to slide forward and Air pressure fires the BB out of the barrel.

Why would your 2006 Chevy 6.0 with 40000 miles have no oil pressure?

I asume that there is oil in the engine. If you do not have oil pressure the engine will be very noisey, IS IT ?? Just because the oil gauge in the dash saids no oil pressure, that is not always true. Could be a bad oil sending unit. Need to remove oil sending unit on right top back side of the intake manifold. Screew a oil pressure gauge in it's place, start engine and read, It should have no less then 6 LBS at idel, and at least 24 or more at 4000 RPM. If you do not have oil pressure for sure, Then on the very front of the engine behind the balancer is where the oil pump is. If you look at the right bottom side of the pump you will see a plug, ( Allen wrench plug ) remove it and there will be a spring and a small piston in there. Spring should not be broken and piston should fall out (Freely) If piston is stuck then get it out somehow. Replace if spring is broken or piston is stuck. It is called a oil pressure relief valve- spring and piston kit. It controls oil preassure. If all that is okay Then the oil pump is probley gone bad, REPLACE PUMP.

Can you replace a nitro piston with a spring?

The Nitro piston is superior to the spring piston in design, but Yes, it can be converted back to a spring in most cases. It is best to have it done by an "air gun smith."

What establishes the amount of pressure a hydraulic pump will generate?

Hydraulic pumps do not develop pressure. Pumps can only develop flow. To obtain pressure in an hydraulic system, restriction to flow must be introduced. In order to control pressure, pressure relief valves are used. These valves, simply put, employ spring pressure acting on a check ball that resists the flow of oil. Most pressure relief valves are adjustable within a given range so that system pressure is also adjustable.

Where is the piston return spring located on your 97 4 runner?

Not sure what you are talking about. If you are referring to a part in the engine then the piston does not have a return spring. If you are referring to the piston, not quit the right term, in the brake area then in the wheels the there is a spring and in the actuator there is a spring. No other item I have ever heard of as a piston return spring. Can you elaborate?

How does pressure control valve control the pressure?

Depends on what kind your talking about. It actually does not control it is a reducing valve by use of diaphragm and spring tension setting in most applications

How does a spring rifle work?

spring drives a piston that pushes air

How does a nitro piston air rifle work?

When you cock the rifle it compresses the gas behind a piston just like a spring. Basically it replaces the spring.

What is the function of a relief valve and what is the disadvantage of it?

A relief valve is spring loaded valve that when excessive hydraulic or air pressure is applied it pushes the cylinder in the direction of the spring and lets the oil or air pass through and escape via another hose returning to the hydraulic tank or into the atmosphere in the case of air pressure. Without it hydraulic pipes or cylinders would rupture.
