5w 30 synthetic oil
In a 2000 BMW 323ci, it takes just under 7 quarts. If you use exactly 7 quarts, it will be a little much.
The BMW 323 i takes Premium gas,but can use mid grade as well. premium is preferred.
I own a 2000 323 and I always use Mobil 1 this is a very good oil and recommended for this cars --More to the point, Mobil 1 is considered a "5w" grade of synthetic motor oil, meaning its "winter" cold-start viscosity is 5 degrees Centigrade... Which is low. And that's a good thing. Plus it seems Mobil 1 comes with lots of extra "good for your engine" bonus ingredients. All of this suggests it's a good motor oi, for your 323.
