∙ 15y agoKatherine of Aragon, the first wife of Henry VIII, had several miscarriages as did Anne Boleyn though some believe that some of her miscarriages she kept a secret so the King would not know. In fact one known miscarriage was mutated and this is one of the reasons she was charged with incest with her brother George.

∙ 11y agoHis first wife Katherine of Aragon gave birth to a boy, named Henry, on the 1st January 1511 but the child died around 6 weeks later. His third wife Jane Seymour then gave birth to a boy, named Edward, on the 12th October 1537. Edward survived infancy and became King Edward VI after Henry VIII's death; but his reign was brief as he died after around six years of being king aged just fifteen.
