Henry VIII (1491 - 1547) and his second wife, Anne Boleyn (c1501 - 1536) were married on or around 25 January 1533 and their daughter, Elizabeth (later Elizabeth I) was born on 7 September 1533. Anne Boleyn was beheaded on 19 Mary 1536, after being charged with adultery, incest, witchcraft - all treasonable offences. Henry was betrothed to Jane Seymour the day after Anne's execution.
