the best way to make texture paint works on walls is to use a textured roller or sponge.. they will give nice effects to walls and give you what you want..
Use a block filler and normal exterior grade paint. Ask your paint supplier which filler is best for your region.
if you paint red walls gray primer may be the best but it depends what kid of paint but mostly yes and it will make your wonderful walls look like it was dong by a professional, so if you use red paint with bear hugs paint it wont work and you can take it off very easily with water or wet towels or just paint white on top and paing any color you want .
You do NOT paint inside a microwave !
A marine enamel or an epoxy paint is your best bet. However I wouldn't expect any paint to last in a bath.
If you are painting your wall to project on to it, you could just use un-tinted white paint, but the results will be better with paint made for projection walls. Companies such as Goo Systems sell kits of primer and paint for the best results.
The best base paint to use before you paint your walls the color you want would be a water base paint since some people are allergic to latex. Also, a water base paint can be removed easier and doesn't interfere with the color you will be adding over it.
Paint is a noun when used to describe the stuff you slap on walls to change colors, and a verb when used to describe the action of slapping stuff on walls to change their colors. "Tom bought red PAINT (noun) to PAINT (verb) the walls with."
If the white paint is well-bonded to the surface, and the red is very fresh, a lot of times you can use a sharp razor blade to peel the red paint off the white. If the red is stuck on there, I would use a sanding block to remove as much red paint as I could without damaging much of the white paint, then put a coat of white paint over the area. Next time, get a newspaper and tape it to the white walls to protect the building.
I would use a good primer first.
