you would use the stove-top to make couscous,it's a little bit like rice in the sense of the cooking technique, all you do to cook couscous is put it in water(the amount will vary depending on how much couscous you you would like to cook), wait for it to come to a boil, turn the heat on the lowest setting that your stove-top has,and cover it with up with a lid that fits the pot you are cooking in.
