I cannot find a specific answer to this question, but for the sake of time, I'm going to take a swing at this.
A Dictatorship is a single party system. Meaning that only one political party for that country can be in power at that time. So any political party that exists in the country can actually be dictator of the country.
Generally only one. Some governments are nominally multi-party but in practice are dictatorships.
Historically no country with 'Democratic' as part of its name has been a democracy.

Dictatorship or autocracy
Party of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat was created in 1990.
in a dictatorship, there is a one party system, where a single party forms the government. the dictator is the leader and the other parties if present are suppressed and are either forced to become part of the main party or are asked to remove the party itself. since it is the only party, the dictatorship will obviously have a say in the government. eg. adolf hitler in germany, mussolin in italy, etc.
A form of dictatorship is similar to an absolute monarchy. The key difference is the manner by which a new "king or dictator" is selected. The monarchy is based on family ties, while a dictatorship relies on a powerful member of the single party nation to succeed the last dictator.
