The states did not agree on slavery. The Northern states didn't need it and thought it was horrible. While the South relied heavily on it and didn't want it to be taken away from them. Which sparked the Civil War.
The Tay Son Rebellion of 1771 to 1802 in Vietnam ended the Le and Trinh dynasties there. It was led by three Vietnamese brothers who are considered heroes to this day.
