There are two people who pass from this world, according to Old Testament, without dying. These two people are Enoch and Elijah. See the relevant Bible verses below: all citations NIV.

Genesis 4:23-24 23 Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. 24 Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

2 Kings 2:11-12 11 As [Elijah and Elisha] were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. 12 Elisha saw this and cried out, “My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!” And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garment and tore it in two.

The Bible is very clear that all mankind will/have died. Enoch and Elijah were taken away from the land they lived in to another area for safety. Elijah even writes a letter to the then present King of Judah about 7 years after his being transported away in a chariot.

Paul in the Book of Hebrews explains who Melchizedek was/is - the Word before He became the Christ.
