There is no one particular cause which stands out in Bill Gates' accomplishments.
Generally, his steady donations for medical care for the most challenged, is his forte.
Bear in mind, Bill Gates heads the list of the world's billionaires as published by Forbes, for the past dozen years.
Of note are the others who make the top ten on that list, and it's very possible some are richer than Bill Gates when total wealth is factored. I know of a Mexican who they say is richer, but I'm not sure what criteria they use to determine wealth.
Bill Gates' wealth is his dominance of the Microsoft Corporation, owning about half of it's outstanding stock.
Other assets of his are not important enough to consider, even though his home could be worth several million dollars.
Ranked #8 on Forbes list of billionaires is a Saudi Prince, one of about 580 princes. His wealth probably tops Bill Gates in that he is a grandosn of the King and as far as I know, that hasn't been factored in. Saudi wealth is connected to their oil production and the world's dependence translates into vast fortunes, enough wealth to biuld new communities on the Red Sea containing all the latest in technological advances.
My friend, we need to look at the whole pie when understanding wealth, not merely accepting what gets printed as fact.
