Ok in my opinion I think that pickup lines are funny but I don't think they work. Try being friends with the person instead.
If you want to impress a girl, use really funny pickup lines.
but don't use some like "is there a mirror in ur back pocket cuz i can see myself in them."
those just get a girl mad and occasionally gets you slapped. Use some really cute ones or use none at all. be careful though because some people hate pickup lines.

Sorry guys, but pick-up lines only work if we want them to. Most times we just think they are corny and that you guys are maybe thinking we are stupid. You use those lines to see if you can get "lucky" which is insulting and disrespectful. Try saying something that is true and that you really mean.

∙ 12y agowell it really depends on the pick up line and how you say it. funny pick up lines that she will either laugh at or say something other then "no" are good. Example "im addicted to yes and allergic to no, so what's it gonna be" sure it's kinda funny but all she has to say is "no" and you're done, the convo is over. With something like "Im not trying to impress you but im batman" is also just kinda funny, but the difference is that she cant just say "no", But she can say "you're not batman" and you can reply to that with out seeming creepy. But the most important thing is how the pickup line is said. Look at Joey from Friends all he says is "How you doin'?" first you can't just say "no" to that question and Joey delivers the line in that one voice that everybody knows. So ya pickup lines can work if you deliver them correctly.
