First of all pocket trumpets are mere novelty instruments and should not be used as teaching tools. However, there are some companies who have spent time and effort in developing thier pocket trumpets. Companies such as Jupitor, Allora or any other BIG brand names that are familier in the music world as Professional Grade Quality instrument manufacturers. These brands however, will leave a big hole in your pocket. Cecilio pocket trumpets may be cheap but the metal that makes them up are a combination of Lead and copper which are unrepairable in the face of Instrument Repair companies. Rugeri i am not sure of. So unless someone tells you other wise go for the big brand names or maybe if you want to use them as novelty items pocket trumpets are a great eye catcher
Probably some type of piccolo pocket trumpet.
Mendini and Cecilio are both junk brands. Buying one of their horns is a waste of money unless you're only planning to use it as a novelty.
No. A cornet is like a trumpet, except that the tubing gradually gets wider from the leadpipe all the way out to the bell (the trumpet has a fixed-width bore). A pocket trumpet is just a trumpet with very tightly wrapped tubing.

The lower end pocket trumpets can cost between $150- $175, with more high end pocket trumpets costing upwards of $500- $1000, depending on the brand and metal of trumpet that you want.
It's fun as a novelty, but not for a primary instrument.
A trumpet with half the length of tubing as a normal trumpet is called a piccolo trumpet. This type of trumpet plays an octave above a normal trumpet.A trumpet with its tubing wrapped very tightly, but which plays the same pitches as a normal trumpet, is called a pocket trumpet.
I think a electric pocket rocket is better
Most pocket trumpets are little more than novelties, but for something actually decent, Kanstul is probably one of the best.
When something is described as pocket sized, it doesn't necessarily mean it wil fit into a pocket. It just means is much smaller than the original. Another good example is a pocket trumpet. It's just a small trumpet, but it won't fit into a pocket.
There are other types of trumpets thata are smaller than a bflat trumpet. Such as, the piccolo trumpet, the pocket trumpet, and other smaller things like these.
