Checks and balance
Jackson did not sign the constitution. 35 delegates signed the Constitution in 1787, and Jackson was not one of them (he was born in 1767, and came from humble origins, and at that time was not president).
Jackson
If you read the constitution, it appears to be that William Jackson was the last one. He signed the document "Attest: William Jackson, Secretary" to attest to the delegates' signing. He is the 40th signer of the Constitution.
Andrew Jackson
The Spoil's System
what is wrong and the answer isn't even here and you need to fix this! Thanks! William Jackson was born in march 9, 1759. he helped with the Constitution, but doesn't talk about him much.
Jackson believed that his duty as President was to support the Constitution and the Federal Union against all threats, foreign and domestic. If your referring to the picture in which Jackson is dressed up like a king and standing on the constitution he was standing on it because in the Whig's mind he was like a monarch whom the people did not want. They also thought that he would abuse the constitution, In fact he had interpreted the constitution very loosely, and in the eyes of the Whig's they did not like it and they tried to smear his reputation.
Jackson strongly believed in the kind of republic that was established by the US Constitution.1.that is correct
No. The idea of national health insurance came long after Jackson. Jackson would probably have surprised that it was not a clear violation of the US Constitution.
(Apex) Against the Constitution
He argued that they were against the constitution.
William Jackson to attest to the document as a Secretary.
