In my personal experience of being a gray-hat hacker, I would recommend learning C and assembly, as they both give you a feeling of low-level programming and getting "down and dirty" with the computer. Assembly is a MUST know for hacking. I would also recommend C++ and Python. Python is a scripting language that is SUPER easy to learn and will make your job easier by allowing you to automate certain tasks that can get tedious
