Betta are slightly bigger and give off radiation. betta is whats in x ray machines and basically anything with a radiation symbol on it. gamma is just radiations and is not a solid object and is what comes off of alpha and betta. there is another called Neutron but this is only present after a nuclear bomb and cannot be detected from Alpha, Betta or gamma.
