I do not think any religion stops you from the consumption of alcohol. It's more of an individual's thing rather than religion.
Both Southern Baptist and the Mormon religions believe it is wrong to consume alcohol. There are various Protestant Christian religions that share this belief.
Pretty much any church does. Some extremest fringes of Christian churches don't but they are few and far between. The Bible never forbids alcohol, only drinking it to the point of causing bodily harm or impairing judgment is frowned upon.
Some branches of Hinduism do not allow alcohol, but most have no specific prohibition on it.

There are two religions which do not allow their members to drink alcohol, Islam and Mormonism. Aside from that, there are lots of people who prefer not to drink. Some do not want to risk becoming alcoholics, and others just don't like the taste of alcohol. Personally I do not drink beer, although I don't mind a nice sherry.
