A Beretta is a manufacturer of pistols, rifles and shot guns. Pistol is a term used to describe any type of handgun, but mostly is used for semiautomatics as opposed to revolvers
Rifles, shotguns, pistols. Beretta is the oldest gun maker in business today.
No. The state of Kentucky does not require handgun registration.
Need to be more specific. Beretta makes a whole line of handguns, rifles, and shotguns, and the price range varies greatly between models.
Contact Beretta customer service thru their website. You will need the MODEL and type of gun. Beretta has been making handguns, shotguns, rifles and machine guns since the 1500s.

Provided you follow all the laws, no.
Beretta is a make of gun. They make rifles, shotgun, handguns and machine guns. Without knowing WHICH Beretta, your question cannot be answered. If you mean the military M9 pistol, no. THAT is a caliber 9mm Parabellum, which is a totally different cartridge from a .38 Special.
No, they are not.
Rifles and shotguns are both considered long guns.
Depends on the state and the gun. So far as I know, you may own one - or a dozen - hunting rifles or shotguns in virtually every state. The laws on handguns are a lot more strict, but again, it varies by state. In my state (Michigan) you need a permit to buy a handgun, but once you get the permit, you can legally buy and own that handgun. For every additional handgun, you would need an additional permit to purchase. You can own it. But you can't carry it - that is a separate permit, a license to carry it. But basically, if you have no criminal record, you can get that without a whole lot of trouble. If you have neither (in Michigan), owning a handgun is illegal, with only a very few exceptions. The laws vary by state - you need to find out exactly what they are in your state.
Unfortunately, the current owner of SAKO (Beretta) does not publish date of manufacture tables for NEW Sako rifles. Try contacting Beretta Customer Support through their website.
