It's called a temp sender and it is located in front and under the thermastat housing
The Temperature sensor for the computer is on top the head. The temperature sensor for the temperature gauge is located under the Thermostat housing.
One sensor would be for your engine temperature gauge and the other sensor for the OBD II engine management system
