Can DermalMD Acne Serum be used by people with sensitive skin?

DermalMD Acne Serum contains several active ingredients, such as salicylic acid, glycolic acid, and benzoyl peroxide, which can be effective in treating acne. However, these ingredients may cause irritation and dryness, especially in individuals with sensitive skin. If you have sensitive skin, it is always recommended to do a patch test before using any new skincare product. Apply a small amount of the serum on a small area of your skin and wait for 24 hours to see if there are any adverse reactions. If you do not experience any adverse reactions, you can start using DermalMD Acne Serum as directed. However, it is important to start with a lower frequency of use and gradually increase the frequency over time to avoid irritation. You can also use a gentle moisturizer to help reduce dryness and irritation. If you experience any redness, itching, burning, or other types of irritation while using DermalMD Acne Serum, you should discontinue use and consult with a dermatologist or a healthcare professional. They can provide guidance on alternative products that may be better suited for your skin type.

The best is to wash your face one to two times per day but no more so as to not over dry it. Tea Tree oil is good to help dry up acne that has already apeared. The best long term skin care regimen for acne that I can personally recommend is the Proactiv skin care system. It is the most effective acne treatment that I have tried, and it is fantastic at keeping acne away for good.
