It is located to the left of the thermostat housing for the temperature gauge, there is another to the right of the thermostat housing for the computer.
If it is a V8 thefiring order is 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2. 1,3,5,7 are the left bank and 2,4,6,8 is the right and the distributor rotates clockwise.
The right bank is where more french people live the left bank is touristy the left bank used to be hip in the 50s but grew expensive and touristy.
When you are standing on a Parisian bridge facing downstream the southern part of Paris is on your left (the left bank) and the northern half is on your right: the right bank.
All V8 engines have the same firing order. 1,3,5,7 is the left bank, 2,4,6,8 is the right bank and the distributor rotates clockwise. 1,8,4,3,6,5,7,2
I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 and it has a counter-clockwise rotation; or a left turn rotation.
