A python is smaller than a anaconda. even though the world record is held by a python most anacondas are bigger than them. If you want more info try national geographic or something like that i also think snakes are pretty freaking awesome:)

"Boa constrictor" is actually the name for a species of snake that has approximately 10 different subspecies. The Boa constrictor can reach lengths of anywhere from 1-4 meters (3-13 feet) depending on the locality and the availability of suitable prey, but the average size of a mature female boa is between 7-10 ft, whilst it is 6-8 ft for the males.

"Python" is the name of a genus of snake with 7 recognized species and at least 7 subspecies.

• Angolan pythons grow to about 1.8 m (6 feet)
• Short-tailed pythons (3 subspecies) grow to 1.5-2.5 m (5-8 feet)
• Indian pythons (2 subspecies) grow to 2.4-3.3 m (7.9-9.8 ft) depending on subspecies, gender, and location

Which type of snake is larger, depends on which species of python you are considering, but on average, pythons would be thought of as larger than boa constrictors.
