It all depends on your personal preference. Different people like different types of genres:
I, for example, am a huge fan of Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, and Christina Aguilera. Their songs are mainly comprised of Pop/R&B influences. My parents, on the other hand, are extremely into Luther Vandross and BeBe & CeCe Winans, who are mainly focused on R&B/Soul genres. If you branch out a little more, you might find a few people who are interested in Pop Rock (P!nk) and Punk (Avril Lavigne).
So, you see, there is no right or wrong answer, just different opinions.
In my honest opinion, Ride the Lightning and Fade to Black. Both by Metallica, and off the same album too.
The answer to the question which song is the best is all a matter of opinion. Every person will say a different song. However, Like A Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan, is regarded as the greatest song of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine. (They didn't get their name from this song.)
