Medicare
The Medicare administrator varies from State to State.
One of the biggest downfall is the amount of people who are currently uninsured and are desprate for medicare. I think the wrong people have this and it should be looked into more closely in this state.
MEDICARE
What Madicare covers varies state by state. Most Medicare programs will of course cover in home nursing options.
People who have lost their jobs are not served by Medicare.
Medicare is a Federal, nation-wide program.
Medicare is for old people and medicaod is for low income people.
Medicare programs are part of the Health and Human Resources Administration. Most people refer to Medicare and Social Security as major programs that must continue to provide benefits to retired persons.
Most medicare beneficiaries choose a plan F, which is the most popular standardized medigap plan. As far as companies go, it's been my experience that people tend to go with the cheapest plan in their state, since every companies Plan F is the same as far as benefits go. Most people also usually shop around their rates every year or two so they can keep the lowest price available that they qualify for.
Medicare does not "means test" one's income or assets. However, Medicaid does.
