You would simply use the search feature provided to enter the state you live in and it will tell you the stores that have the lowest gas available and the highest price. It also averages the gas price per gallon for the entire United States and Canada areas. In the US it lists the lowest gas prices of all 50 states and the highest of all 50 states also.

I don't think so the gas prices are different from state to state. To add to the above poster's answer. Gas prices from one Costco not only differ from state to state, but also from city to city. Each Costco purchases gas from a LOCAL wholesaler and those prices can vary from region to region. For example, although not significant, here in Southern California, the price of gas from the Costco in Fullerton differs by about $.03 from the Costco in Irvine and Tustin.
