This is more of an opinion question. There are advantages and disadvantages of mobile phones, but they are an integral part of many people's lives, that we must learn to live with, or find ways to reduce the disadvantages to an acceptable risk level. Somebody could make the argument that cars should be banned, because people die in car crashes. People are aware of the risks involved in riding a car, but if the risk is reduced then people will accept the risk in order to take advantage of the added convenience of automobile transportation.
