The United States requires that all the states governments should have a republican form of government. The republican governments that is instituted by the state governments must be on the basis of the national union.
A republican (small "r") can be either a socialist or a capitalist. The word "republican" simply refers to the method of leadership, generally speaking. The United States is a republic. So was the USSR, and so is China. A republican can and historically has been of a wide array of economic mindsets. A Republican (with a capital "R") is a member of the Republican Party in the United States, which in most (but not all) cases means they're a capitalist.
The question has remained unanswered because all presidents of the United States have been millionaires.
All original colonies and states existing at that time signed the Declaration
Slavery was legal in all the US colonies. However, by 1804, all the States north of the Mason-Dixon Line had outlawed slavery.

what regions of the United States remained solidly Democratic in all three election
The same of the United States: all three countries are federations of independent states with a federal government of elected officials.
Since the turn of the 21st century, the US has seen three presidential elections, in 2000, 2004 and 2008. In each of these elections, certain states have remained solidly Democratic. In all three elections, the states of California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, Delaware, Hawaii, Connecticut, Vermont, and Illinois were all solidly Democratic. In the 2000 election, Al Gore won each of these states, as well as Washington D.C., by large margins. In the 2004 election, John Kerry won each of these states again, although the margins of victory were slightly smaller than in 2000. In 2008, Barack Obama won all of these states again, with the exception of Indiana, which was won by Republican candidate John McCain. In addition to the states listed above, the state of Oregon was also solidly Democratic in 2000 and 2008, although it was carried by Republican candidate George W. Bush in 2004. The states of Michigan and Pennsylvania were also firmly in the Democratic column in 2000 and 2008, but were won by George W. Bush in 2004. Overall, the states that remained firmly in the Democratic column in all three elections were: California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Maryland, Delaware, Hawaii, Connecticut, Vermont, and Illinois.

All New England states remained in the Union during the Civil war.
All states in the US have a republican government system.
NewYork
A republican form of government.
Theoretically all of them.
In 1863, four slave states remained in the Union. These were Missouri, Kentucky, Maryland, and Delaware. The 13th Amendment to the Constitution made slavery illegal in all the states in 1865.
This guarantees that all the states will continue to have governments that are chosen by the people.
