Call for an ambulance is the first thing to do. Make the patient as comfortable as possible. Treat any bleeding that may be present. Don't move the patient unless you absolutely have to. they may have more damage that a broken leg. Don't try to set it. If you suspect the femur is broken, don't move them at all unless their life is in danger where they are. A broken femur can cut the artery in their thigh and they will bleed to death in a very short time.

Grazed knees are usually a minor incident that requires minimal response. A mild disinfectant or mouthwash can be used to clean the area. It should be kept covered for at least a day to allow a scab to form and prevent foreign contaminants.

It depends upon the injury. If its major and it can't be cured in the current place than we should take him/her to a hospital and if the injury is not so major then we can simply apply some medicines (eg. spray) in such case.

Why should first aid treatment be given to someone who has had an accident?

First aid should be given in an effort to prevent further injury. If the injury from the accident is relatively small, first aid may work as a final fix. For a larger injury, basic first aid can help to forestall further injuries. For these larger injuries, the injured party should visit a hospital to ensure they get the most complete treatment for their injury, but first aid prior to the hospital visit can help to prevent further injury.
