"RMS Queen Elizabeth" (1940-1972) was destroyed by fire in 1972. Up until 1969 she was owned by the famous Cunard Line. Her replacement, "Queen Elizabeth 2", was also operated by Cunard from 1969 until 2008 but is now owned by Isithimar, part of Dubai World. The new Cunard ship "Queen Elizabeth" is not an RMS and is once again owned by Cunard. Cunard have been owned by Carnival Corporation since 1998.
Queen Elizabeth 1 didn't take over Edward 1 it was Queen Mary Tudor was next in line.
Queen Elizabeth I died in 1603, a long, long time before Queen Elizabeth II was born. You might be referring to the Queen Mother, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, wife of George VI. She was never styled as Queen Elizabeth I or II though, because she was not a sovereign. She was a Queen Consort, the wife of a King, but had none of his powers, nor was she in line to the throne. When George VI died, the throne passed to the next in line, Elizabeth II.

The next in line for the British throne is Prince Charles, the son of Queen Elizabeth. If anything should happen to him, Prince William would be next in line for the throne.
