None. A civil war is two states, for example, within a country at war.
Daniel Webster was a Massachusetts senator during the period before the Civil War. He is highly regarded for his strong nationalism and support for the American values of liberty and unity which helped in the fight against the Confederacy.
It didn't split the Confederacy in two. It was a punitive raid of destruction that simply helped to destroy the Southern economy and starve the Confederate armies in the field. Splitting the Confederacy in two is what Grant (and Sherman) achieved earlier in the Siege of Vicksburg, which ended with the liberation of the Mississippi.
Basically, it's your choice since it's a opinion question. Just to help out others, i would write if yes: Yes, i would have helped the colonists if i was a member of the Powhatan Confederacy because you might need the Powhatan at times, like when disease struck Jamestown. if no: No, i wouldn't have helped the colonists if i was a member of the Powhatan Confederacy because i wouldn't want the colonists taking up land that should be ours!

If you're asking about other countries... nobody. The Union regarded the matter as a purely internal affair and did not seek outside assistance. All they really wanted was for other countries not to intervene on behalf of the Confederacy, and for the most part they got that, so in a sense it might be possible to say that Britain and France (the most likely allies of the Confederacy) "helped" the north by not helping the south. The Confederacy had hoped to forge an alliance with Britain and France. While those countries were somewhat sympathetic and British ships, at least, made some efforts to circumvent the Union's blockade of southern ports, ultimately both countries realized that it was unlikely that the Confederacy would survive, and the political costs of having supported it would be high.

The Cherokee Nation had been badly mistreated by the US government prior to the US Civil War. They helped the Confederacy to a degree because they believed they might get a "better deal" with the Confederates.
Ally helped there foreign countries
I'm not sure of any specific ways that France helped the Confederacy. However, many European countries continued to do business with the Confederate States because they wanted to purchase the cotton from them.
The five countries that helped during WW2. They were all on the allies side.
