The BTX is the answer the design focuses on reducing heat with better airflow and improved fans and coolers, its also gives better structural support for the motherboard than does ATX. The BTX form factor focuses on reducing heat with better designed airflow and implimenting improved colling fans and coolers.

∙ 13y agoBTX is considered the leading edge of case cooling, with improved air flow and fan layout. However, all systems will keep your CPU running between 30 and 40 degrees Celsius regardless of cooling capacity. If you want cooler systems, look at water-cooled or thermal-cooled (or even thermal/water cooled) systems. Also see submerged systems. ATX parts are arguably readily available compared to BTX, however.

To determine this, its best to check the case online, but depending on the case or system manufacturer (if you got an HP or Dell for example) you may have to look at their website and probably not find anything for the form factor. Since the motherbaord is the main determinant of a form factor, you have to open the case before you can determine the form factor. Unless the manufacturer tags the details of the motherboard along with the case. which is rarely seen. Also most cases easily show the type but that is not enough to determine the form factor.
