Oxygen combined with one other element is an oxide.
Reactants are the material or substance that react with each other. Product is the result of a reaction between two reactants. for example : magnesium + oxygen- magnesium oxideREACTANT 1+ REACTANT2 - PRODUCT
2C8H18 + 25 O2 → 16CO2 + 18 H2O + energy so the reactants are octane (actually there are other hydrocarbons present too) and oxygen.
An atom. However it should be noted that generally the valence electrons in an atom take part in a chemical reaction.
Glucose and fructose combined in a particular way form sucrose. If they're combined in any other way, they form some other disaccharide.
a compound is a product of reactants that are chemicaly combined(e.g CO2, H2O, H2SO4) While an element is a substance that cnt be broken down by chemical reactions into anythng stable or simpler. A mixture on the other hand is a combination of substances that are not chemicaly combined
Group 3 elements
Thoroughbreds are generally the fastest, as they are the most popular breed of racehorse. Quarter Horses can run the fastest for a quarter of a mile, hence their name, but are not the fastest overall. In other parts of the world, Arabians are also commonly used for racing.
Products of these are CO2, O2 and H2O Reactants of these are CO2, O2 and H2O (As they are the reverse of the other)
* Reactants: the initial compounds in a chemical reaction. * Products: the final compounds in a chemical reaction. * Catalyst: a chemical compound which help the chemical reaction but not react with the other compounds.
They are reactants.
Oxygen combined with one other element is an oxide.

For a reaction to occur all the reactants are required. If there is no supply of one of the reactants the reaction must stop because there isn't any more of it to keep reacting. When one of the reactants is in low supply or runs out it is called the limiting reactant.
