No, they won't. The CiniMate II is designed to connect directly to the DVD player or game machine, and includes a built-in amplifier. The Onkyo does not have a compatible analog output for all of its signals. You should consider the AcoustiMass series of speakers which will connect to the Onkyo's amplifier outputs. The subwoofer will connect to the sub line out.
I'd go with the Onkyo but not for the speakers. I'd look for a nice set of Klipsch speakers instead. They will play much louder and clearer for the money than the set from Onkyo. A common rule of thumb in Hi-Fi is to spend twice as much on your speakers than you do on any other part of your system. After all, your speakers have the greatest impact on the sound of your system.
I would go with the KLIPSCH!
The products that Onkyo USA sell are electronics. They sell receivers, home theater systems, headphones, DVD players, amplifiers, speakers, and accessories.
The Onkyo HT-S3200 is very loud, but not as loud as the Sony BDV-E500W, especially when hooked up to high-wattage speakers. anonymous@oola.com
