Kilograms.

liters is mot a mass unit but a volume unit so that cannot come into discussion at all.

The only difference between milligrams, grams and kilograms is that 1000 milligrams makes 1 gram and 1000 grams makes 1 kilogram. so you can of course measure the weight of a refrigerator in milligrams but you would have a value in the tens of millions.
