4. Anne of Cleves. Anne was a German princess who came to marry the King. He divorced her on the grounds of her having a pre-contract to marry another. She became the King's sister in name and remained in England. She lived the longest of all the wives.
5. Catherine Howard. She married the King at the age of about 18. She was beheaded by an axe on the grounds of adultery.
6. Catherine Parr. She outlived the King. After the King's death, she married Thomas Seymour. She gave birth to a child a year later and died of childbed fever.
