Discovery (STS-96) made its first docking with the International Space Station (ISS) on 29 May, 1999. This was also the first shuttle to actually dock with the ISS. The pilot of this mission was Rick Husband, who would later lose his life on-board the shuttle Columbia (STS-107).

Why doesn't NASA show video from the International Space Station?

Possibly due to the fact this is an International Space Station and not ( Go to Whoa) a Nasa project like the Space Shuttle, Apollo series or similar. It is sad indeed that interest in manned space flight- the all time attraction to TV Live coverage- some forty-plus years ago has dwindled so.

Do Russians have a space-shuttle?

The Soviets used to have a shuttle-like vehicle called Buran. It made only one unmanned space flight in November 1988 and the whole programme was cancelled in 1993. The Russians use a Soyuz spacecraft to get to and from the International Space Station. The Buran was destroyed when its hangar collapsed, so the answer to your question is "no". Since it was only used once, it may not even be proper to call it a "shuttle".

If you saw a large light like a space shuttle pass overhead about 15 minutes ago what could it be?

If you were in Australia, what you saw was probably the International Space Station which was over Australia at the time. The shuttle is not in flight at the time you asked the question. There are many satellites visible at night, but the ISS is by far the brightest. You can check what will be passing over your area at the link below.
