To improve your balance whilst horse riding you can ride without your stirrups which increases your balance as you don't have your stirrups to rely on and have to use your bum to support your self. Also if it is possible to have a lunge lesson (where you are on the lunge line) you could ride without your reins and put your hands on your hips so that you are not relying on your hands and reins to keep you balanced. If you have your own horse you could also ride bareback. Trying out exercises on horseback help your balance too e.g. Around The World, Scissors etc.
Hope this helps x

Riding a horse can be compared to riding a bike. if you do not have balance, you can throw the horse (or bike) off balance and/or slide off to one side.
It can. Gymnastics requires balance and strength, just like riding. However, like the answer beneath me, horse riding improves horse riding the best- but it's not necessarily the only thing to improve riding. No not really. Horse riding improves horse riding. That is pretty much it. It is so unique in itself that it is the only thing that will improve itself.
Sleeping while riding a horse is not advisable due to the inherent risks involved. Horses are unpredictable animals, and even the most experienced riders can be thrown off balance or face sudden movements. Additionally, sleeping would hinder your ability to maintain control and respond to the horse's actions, increasing the likelihood of accidents. It's best to stay alert and focused while riding for both your safety and that of the horse.
in horse riding some important things are balance, timing, being able to see a distance, basic horse handling and care, and kindness and understanding amongst other things.

It is not recommended to adjust your stirrups while riding, as it can be unsafe for both you and your horse. It's best to adjust your stirrups before mounting or while the horse is standing still. If you need to adjust your stirrups while riding, it's safer to dismount in a safe location and make the necessary adjustments.
