Augie Kymmel, she's the set designer for Austin City Limits.
Augie Kymmel. Looks like she had white pants on.
Augie Kymmel, the Austin City Limits set designer. Note: The man and a woman watch as a girl walked into the studio, wearing white pants.
The closing credits for Season 10 of Austin City Limits in 1985 consisted of many photographs of the crew members doing various things outside of Austin, Texas.
I guess the very first Austin city limits intro used from 1975 to 1977 and featured a sap green and gray highway sign which has "Austin CITY LIMITS" written on it, and it was used behind the gray sky from 1975 to 1977, The second one features the sign standing on the left side of the screen below the sun, and used in the opening and closing credits. From 1980 to 1982, The Austin City Limits sign is standing behind the highway road, and from 1982 to 1984 the sign is right next to the tree From 1984 to 1986, The cames moves from the lake, to the Austin city limits sign is behind the tree and bridge. The Bridge is, I believe the Pennybacker Bridge, aka Loop 360 Bridge. Here is a link: http://www.texasescapes.com/AustinTexas/Pennybacker-Bridge-Austin-Texas.htm I worked on the show between 80 and 85/86. From 1986 to 1987, the Austin City Limits sign, is standing behind a state capital From 1987 to 2004, The Austin city limits sunset appeared it was filmed in the show's opening and closing, the camera pans down to a tree behind a lake and the Austin city limits sign is still there. Then in the mid-90s, the opening titles featured the camera zooms in on the sign, and an old ford truck passes behind the sign and it zooms in again.
Does anyone know on YouTube where i can find the Austin City Limits intro from 1982, it has that dirty Austin city limits sign with dirty plants and weeds behind the sign, as the camera moves down and we see an armadillo walking towards Austin, I'd even try YouTube with no result.
in 1984 austin city limits kicked off season 9 on pbs the new version of the opening credits was shot on tape rather than filmed by using the 1977 version of the theme song london homesick blues more new performers were added and some old ones retired during the second half the austin city limits logo in yellow was smaller rather than bigger the credits were in serif and cooper black font used until season 13 1988 the closing theme london homesick blues was redone
I think it is Diane Venora from the movie Heat
The opening credits for Season 11 (1986) of Austin City Limits began with a shot of the Austin City Limits sign, as man and a woman walk by. Then, it shows a shot of the legs, giving a ticket and putting stamps on their hands, a man gives two booklets to a man and a woman, another shot of the legs, man filling a mug and serving beer, a man and a woman watch as someone walked to the studio, a woman hits the man in the chest, beer sloshes, and spills all over the boots; Then, it shows another shot of the legs, a man and a woman walk to Studio 6A, causing the screen to go black by revealing a shot of the set, the Austin City Limits logo appeared.
