Kane is the Undertakers brother, the story was, the Undertaker set a fire at his families Funeral Home which killed his family but Kane escaped with burns all over his face/body. A few years later when Kane was unmasked he had no burns and the story was his scars were emotional scars.

Kane got mad because this was the so called date when his house got burnt down. It was also a promotional idea about his new film See No Evil also.

No the wrestler who came back was Kane. You could see in his eyes. Also in the promo commercial of his return clearly showed that he had a match and set a fire. He burned himself again. Before he left he said he was not a monster like he used to be. He obviously burned himself to be more monstrous. (note this is just the storyline WWE has stunts that you should not attempt. Burning yourself does not make you a monster only Kane could do thatXD)
