Dia de los Muertos (literally "Day of the Dead") is a traditional holiday most frequently celebrated by Latino communities in honor of late friends and family. On the Day of the Dead, death is disregarded and commonly mocked as to render it powerless. It is also the day in which deceased friends and family return to their loved ones and their spirits are allowed to wander the mortal world.
