How many enthnic groups are in Brazil?

That, my friend, is a complex question. Before the portuguese came, there were a lot of indigenous people from different tribes. Then the portuguese came. The dutch and the french also had some small colonies that later became Brazilian cities. Later, africans from different countries were brought as slaves, mainly from Angola and Mozambique. Then, after slavery was abolished, europeans came looking for jobs as immigrants. This includes portuguese, Italians, Germans, polish, spanish, etc. Years after that, the Japanese, lebanese, Arabs, Korean, and other Asian and middle eastern people came along. Right now, Brazil is a great mixture, a melting pot of all these races, nationalities and ethnicities, which I would say, created the distict and diverse Brazilian people

What is happening in Sudan?

There is a genocide, an enthnic cleansing if you will, still occurring in Darfur. Sparked from decades of famine, drought, and oppression it only gets worse as time goes on. With the rise of militia groups, the Sudanese government, in 2003, sent their own, well armed, well funded militia group to reek havoc in the area of Darfur. The Sudanese governments military is mainly funded by oil revenues, the countries major money maker. Over 70% of oil profits go to the military. This poses a problem to the people of Darfur, as the largest of these oil fields lies in South darfur, while the government is in the North. UN action has been rare as both China and Russia benefit from Sudanese oil, and both Russia and China are veto powers on the Security Council.450,000 people have been murdered, 2.5 million are hungry, and 4.5 are displaced. It is a crisis that is complicated, multi faceted, and complex.for more informatin, go to amnesty.org, i used this website while i wrote a research paper on the genocide in darfur. it's a great website!

What was the color of Saint Paul's eyes?

We don't know as it is not mentioned. It is thought that he was a shorter balding man with red hair, though that is speculation. Though, he was known for his great testimony and for his relationship with God, and not by his looks, however he may have appeared. In addition to the above, Paul himself, in his letters, speaks of his 'thorn in the flesh' - an affliction he had. Some believe that this was epilepsy, whilst others think that physically he had deformity. Early artistic depictions of Paul, some based on word of mouth passed on by generations, suggested that he was bow-legged, suggesting that his 'thorn' was rickets. however, the above writer was totally correct. He was known for his great testimony and for his relationship with God, and not by his looks. Look up an Orthodox Jew and notice his hair and enthnic characteristics and your looking at Shaul the Pharisee(Orthodox) Jew. Watch how he prays with the tefillin and other devices of Jewish worship. He would have been this way until the day he died. Some traditions say he was not a tall man, had bowed legs and was balding.
