Jesus said that Peter would deny Him three times before the cock crows and Peter replied that he would never deny Him. I am pretty sure that is how it went.
The Last Supper or Communion is supposed to be observed as a Memorial to our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself instructed his disciples to do this "in remembrance of Me". You can find this quote in the book of Luke , Chapter 22, verse 19. I must note that observing the Lords Supper is serious business and should be done in a totally respectful manner only to honor Christ Jesus. The Last Supper is important to Christians for what it commemorates - the suffering and death of their Lord and Saviour. Jesus began this practice 'on the night when He was betrayed,' in the shadow of the cross. In the same way Christians are to live in the shadow of their own personal cross and death to self just like their Master and Lord.
The last supper held with Jesus must have taken a while. If you read the Bible they talked and ate and Jesus was trying to prepare the disciples for his death and how their lives would change after he was crucified. During the evening he also told them about remembering him by eating bread and wine and also washed their feet. When they went to pray in the garden afterwards it was very late and the disciples were so tired they kept falling asleep even though Jesus asked them to stay awake.I think they did a lot on the day Jesus was arrested.Additional Answer:Customarily, the Passover Meal (aka Last Supper) which Jesus and His disciples celebrated, would begin at sunset of Nisan 14. It would last about 3 hours and end with singing.
A:In the three synoptic gospels, the Last Supper is the feast of the Jewish Paassover (eg Mark 14:16) and each describes the events at that meal, after which Jesus went to pray, was arrested and then crucified on the following day. For theological reasons, John's Gospel has the crucifixion take place on the day before the Passover feast, and so only mentions Jesus and the disciples at an ordinary evening meal. Instead of the Last Supper narrative, John contains a narrative about Jesus washing the feet of the disciples.
after jesus had the last supper he took his disciples to the garden of Gethsemane to pray. he told them to watch for guard but they fell asleep. then judas told the soldiers "the one i will kiss is the one you will arrest." then judas went into the garden andkissed jesus thent he soldiers arrested jesus
He went to the Mount of Olives which is a mountain ridge in East Jerusalem with three peaks running from north to south. It is named for the olive groves that once covered its slopes.
