No... or at least, "not necessarily". Whether or not you played sports 20 years ago has very little to do with your current state of physical fitness.

Boost Your Son's Confidence In Physical Education Through Video Games?

How many times has your son complained about his physical education class? If your son is like most children, that would be often. This presents an opportunity for you as a parent. Most physical education teachers are pleasantly surprised to find out that one of their students is working out at home. Working out doesn't pertain to lifting weights since anyone who lifts weights under 18 years old can stunt their growth. In this case, working out pertains to a great cardio workout. If you want your child to get more exercise, and to impress his physical education teacher, your first step is to look into physical video games. You might be wondering where to begin. There are many different physical video games to choose from. The most obvious one is Dance Revolution. If you want your child to have an incredible workout, buy this game. Even if your child is shy about dancing, this is a great choice. When your child is in the comfort of his own home, he's not going to care what others think. If your child is still shy around you or anyone else in the household, he can set it up in the garage or basement. This game doesn't only offer a great workout, but it's also a lot of fun.Another great option is and physical video game that focuses on boxing. Don't get the wrong idea. In real life, boxing can be a violent sport, but training for boxing is more about conditioning. Your child will end up in the best shape of his life. You can't go wrong here. A game like this can also boost his confidence.Other types of physical video games to consider are tennis, Olympics, surfing and any form of workout challenge. After your child has played this game for an extended period of time, tell him to bring it to his physical education teacher after school. Advise your son to challenge his physical education teacher in a round of the game, but in a friendly manner. Whether his physical education teacher accepts or declines, he's going to be impressed, which will boost your son's confidence in physical education from that day forward.
