We are not judged until the events in revelations takes place, so no one is in either in heaven or hell right now I would imagine. In Luke 19 it does talk about Hades and Abraham's side so this would suggest that there is a waiting room of sorts for the saints and sinners to wait in till judgement by Christ. It mentions hell quite a lot and Hades very little so with all the text taken into consideration this is the view I have adopted. Study it for yourself if you are in doubt.
