Edgar Degas
John Locke believed that individuals have fundamental rights to life, liberty, and property. He argued that these natural rights should be protected by a social contract between the government and the governed. Additionally, Locke believed that individuals have the right to rebel against a government that violates these rights.
He was a rebel because the United States government believed in segragation, or the division of African-Americans and Caucasians. He believed that blacks and whites shouldn't be divided but instead unite.
Because it states that the purpose of government is to protect the rights of people & if the government cannot/will not do so, then the people should rebel.
people who rebel in the government and in the society are those people whose voices, opinions and rights(human rights) are not heard by the government .. so they rebel so that their needs, opinions and rights will be heard by the government and can help them and support them in their needs
They rebel because they believed that man would be saved by faith alone and the bible alone.
He believed that all individuals are born with certain rights and privilages that should be protected.
