up in mass and nh someone with a pick-up truck is paid to drive around to look for the carriages. i believe they are paid commission for the amount of carts they bring in daily.

This is an age old problem for stores that use trolleys and baskets. Because of the laws regarding disposal of waste many countries find trolleys dumped. Because of the cost of trolleys to a store (some costing $90 to $250) it has become important that individuals are specifically employed to continually collect these trolleys and return them to the main bays at the store.
