( If a worker died while working emperor qin made other workers pick up the body and put the body in the great wall.) he also destroyed poor Zhao and all the other kingdoms.

Of course, they had to have certain tools to help build it. Other than that, they used mostly stone bricks. Anyone who was disliked by the emperor was used as a slave to build the wall as punishment.
Parts of the Great Wall was already built by the various warring states before the first emperor of China, Qin Shi-Huang united China. However, Qin Shi Huang connected the various walls of different states and extended it, and hence often he is known as the person who built the Great Wall of China. The Great Wall was subsequently extended in other dynasties like the Ming Dynasty.
