If you are planning to go on for a master's degree, check with the college to see which one of the tests they prefer for you to take. If you are going to work, then you should work on passing the Professional Engineering Licensing test for your state. I majored in ME as well. I would suggest taking the GRE if you're planning on going to graduate school for engineering. If you're interested on the business side and plan to get an MBA sometime in the future, then GMAT. Of course you can always get your MBA later after some work experience.
