I only surmise that He taught them about themselves, what they were capable of, the reason he chose them. When they were ready he taught them His gospel and saw that they were ready to feed the other sheep that were lost. Meaning those who had not heard of Christ and His gospel.He taught them little by little, precept upon precept until they all became coverted to His gospel and were ready to go out into the world.He told them about His forthcoming death but they were to carry His words to the four corners of the earth.I would think he would teach them to be christ like. The thing that Christianity and Judaeism revolves around is love. He not only taught them this, but lessons on how to display the love he showed them.
