Arab beduins, Turks and Mongols, the Muslims who invaded India were barbarians, nomadic, uncivilised people. They never had any buildings in their own countries which are still mainly deserts. They could not design a building like Qutub Minar or Taj Mahal.
Qutub Minar was there along with more than 90 Hindu temples and the Steel Pilar in that called called Mihir auli or Meharauli as pronounced today.
Muslim Turk invader destroyed all Hindu temples and built a mosque using the materials from those destroyed temples. The Minar was an astronomical observatory, which was of no use for the uncivilized Turks, so they just called it just a Minar.

Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the 5th ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty.
The construction of the Qutub Minar, which began in 1193 and was completed in 1368, is estimated to have cost around 1 million rupees at that time, equivalent to several million dollars today. The project was commissioned by Qutb al-Din Aibak and later completed by his successors. The exact cost in contemporary terms is difficult to determine due to changes in currency value and economic conditions over the centuries.
Qutub Minar construction was made on Islamic architecture style covered with verses from the Quran.
